  • Broward County Cities Building Department Agencies -

    This links to a page with the various City Building Departments within Broward County. Permits are needed to perform most projects around the house. It is advised to check with your local city's buiding department before work is started. If the code enforcement department finds knowledge that work was performed without the necessary permits, they could force the work to stop, or in extreme instances, require that the project be removed after completion and then started over with required inspections and permits.
